Sponsored by the Anniversary Preparing Office, “Tongji for A Century”, the special edition on Tongji’s 100th anniversary was published recently.With the full launch of the preparing work for the 100th anniversary, the office compiled and printed the special edition to better distribute news inside and outside the college, deliver all kinds of information concerning with the anniversary, reinforce contacts and communications between Tongji and all circles in the society, alumni everywhere over the country. Divided into four colorful sections, the front page is about important news, second page for preparation work, third for Tongji history and its alumni, and fourth for special sections. It is planned to publish once a month and adjusted according to needs. The special edition will be circulated for central ministers and commissions, Shanghai municipal government, alumni associations, renowned alumni, former leaders, every department of Tongji, retired teachers’ representative, as well as teaching faculties and students.

It is said that the collecting of the anniversary symbol was cut-off recently and received almost 2,500 works, over 800 from the college.
